TLDR
Our goal is that everyone who comes to Edge City Lanna, whether for a week or a month, will leave healthier than they arrived.
Below you can see all of the aspects of the experience that the community will co-create to allow for this, including healthy food, daily workouts, meditation, and much more.
Like everything at Edge City, this is a co-created aspect of the experience, so you can get involved in helping create the health city you want to see.
Our popup villages are built with a core focus on health & wellbeing, where everyone can be healthy by default. Many people working in frontier tech industries live unhealthy lifestyles with bad habits, which often lead to burnout. We want to change that. There's no reason why working hard and pushing the boundaries of progress should make us less healthy.
Our goal is simple: no matter how long you stay at Edge City Lanna, you'll leave feeling better than when you arrived.
Default Health
We've designed Edge City Lanna to make health the easy choice. We will have:
Healthy food: Organic, locally sourced, and seed oil-free
Daily Movement: a well-balanced variety of movement classes like morning breathwork with Natalie Kuhn and sweaty fitness with Ethan Hill
Local gym and Muay Thai classes with very affordable rates
Yoga sessions with a wide variety of teachers and styles
Sauna and cold plunges are available every day
Holistic health tracking: We'll encourage and support tracking of key health metrics, including food intake, sleep quality, light exposure, physical activity, and environmental factors.
Meditation, both on-site and at local Buddhist temples
Sound healing and cacao ceremonies with Zoe Loefstok and other practitioners throughout the month
Programs: There will be programs focused on psychological health and growth, including the Concept Clinic
Spiritual learning: for those interested, Thailand offers a deep tradition of Buddhist teachings, and we’ll organize excursions to hear teachers in the area
Retreats: some community members are already organizing weekend retreats in the area
Connection: strong social bonds are crucial for wellbeing, and the village is structured to make it easy to connect meaningfully with people by interacting with them in a variety of settings.
Mental Wellbeing Workshops: Engage in transformative sessions like the "Make The Mirror" workshop, designed to enhance self-awareness and cultivate a positive mindset through introspective exercises and guided reflection.
Edge City Lanna will take a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. Our program encourages you to nourish your body with wholesome foods, energize yourself through diverse physical activities, calm your mind with meditation, and enrich your spirit through community engagement. By addressing these interconnected facets of health, we aim to help you flourish.

Appendix: Approaches and flows
To illustrate what your experience might look like, we asked the track organizers how they’re going to approach their practices.
Natalie Kuhn — how will you approach the program here?
I’m thrilled to bring to Edge City a blend of dynamic and introspective practices. I’ll kick off mornings with invigorating breathwork to help you start the day with clarity and energy. My "Make The Mirror" workshop will guide you through exploring self-perception and transforming your inner dialogue, turning self-talk into a powerful source of strength. Whether through embodied practices or creative self-exploration, my goal is to foster deep personal growth and bring meaningful experiences that are effective, a bit irreverent, too much fun (?), and connective. Join me for a journey of transformation and empowerment!
Ethan Hill — what is your philosophy regarding health & wellbeing?
Many in STEM overlook the incredible potential of their own bodies and minds. While scientists have been mastering the outer world, yogis have spent millennia exploring inner reality - controlling bodily functions and mental states at will.
My goal is to bridge these worlds, connecting cutting-edge tech with ancient practices like yoga and meditation. I'll teach daily yoga classes and lead four 90-minute workshops: "Perfect Posture," "Endless Energy," "Meditation Masterclass," and "Maximum Mobility."
These sessions will help you take your biohacking journey further, providing tools to master your body and mind using only breath and attention.
Sophie — what are you most excited about over the course of the month?
I've always been good at keeping up with workouts, but I struggle with quieter practices for mental wellbeing. That's why I'm thrilled about Edge Lanna's holistic approach to health. We're creating a space that balances movement and stillness, helping us listen to both our bodies and minds.
As a new yoga teacher, I'm excited to share what I've learned, but even more eager to learn from our amazing community. I can't wait to explore different paths to wellness with such a curious and kind group!
Thanks for reading!
With love,
The Edge City Lanna team ☀️
