Additional Details:
You do not need to be an Edge City Lanna resident to enter the Hackathon space at Mövenpick Suriwongse. Everyone is welcome! However, to access other Lanna programming or meals unrelated to the hackathon, you’ll need to buy a Lanna ticket.
Existing projects welcome, but you’ll have to mention how much was actually built during the week when you submit.
Feel free to build in any frontier technology, includind crypto, AI, health, bio, and more.

This hybrid event, with over $60K in prizes, is designed for anyone passionate about developing meaningful solutions, both Online or IRL Chiang Mai, Thailand.

If you’re joining us in Chiang Mai, our co-working space at Mövenpick Suriwongse Hotel will be a hub for collaboration, featuring workshops, office hours, and mentorship throughout the week.
Prefer to work remotely? Workshops and sessions will be live-streamed, with support and guidance available through our Hackathon Telegram Group.

Inspired by Cory Doctorow’s insights on “enshittification,” this track gathers developers, designers, and social thinkers to create tech that centers on user privacy, autonomy, and authentic experiences.
The Deshittification Residency doesn’t offer financial prizes but provides a collaborative space for individuals and small teams to connect and co-create tech that resists extraction and empowers users. Focus areas include privacy, peer-to-peer systems, and user experience.
